EXPLORE

I've been teaching guitar and making music professionally for decades, and one of my favorite things is seeing people play at a level they didn't think they could reach. Most of us start out learning alone, but music gets a hell of a lot more fun when we learn and play with other people.

Take a look around. Watch some videos and see what we're up to.

LEARN

YouTube can teach you almost anything on guitar. The problem is knowing what to learn next.

A song here. A scale there. Another lick tomorrow. Pretty soon you're asking, “Am I actually getting better? How does any of this fit together?”

Sometimes you need a path. My White Belt and Blue Belt courses build the fundamentals in order, so you can see real progress—and eventually know enough to teach yourself.

JOIN

Practicing alone is important. But you shouldn't have to do all of this alone.

Twang Hang started as a place to teach and talk guitar. It's turned into a group of friends who show up, ask great questions, share what they're working on, learn from each other and get better together.

Come hang with us.

EXPERIENCE

The best teachers don't just show you what to do. They create an environment where you can discover what you're capable of.

Come train with me in person. Spend three days playing with a band, hanging with working musicians, learning the music—and then perform or record it for real.

I'll be there to teach, coach and guide you. But you'll be the one making the music.
